I want to devote the last post to a serious topic - the theft of girls.
Some don’t admit that there are still cases of bride theft. There are still savages who want to get a girl without their will. They’ll meet somewhere, fall in love, and not reaching her heart, not agreeing with her relatives and friends, just grab like a bag of potatoes or sacrificial sheep and take them home.
What are they thinking? How do they want to live a whole life with a woman whom they made a wife by force? How are they not disgusted from the realization that they aren’t wanted and loved? What do they expect from a woman whom they don’t consider to be a man? After all, even a ram cannot be simply taken. And they want children from her? I wonder if they want their daughters to be stolen by savages in the future too. And you know what's scary? They want to.
Look at these relatives of the shameless groom. How they surround a young girl in a room and terrorize her mind: “Stay. Don’t leave. It will be a shame. Shame. Think about the parents. What will people say? Don’t cry, everything will be fine. Love one another.” And if a girl tries to scream and break out of this medieval prison with a TV, grandmother lays on the threshold and manipulates, yells: “Step over then! Come on, disrespect my gray-haired head! Spit on us!” And the girl gives up.
Do you know what is worse? It often happens that the relatives of the stolen seem to come for her, are outraged for an hour or two, drink well, and then they themselves persuade the girl to stay. They leave the one they were supposed to protect. Drunk and satisfied are leaving for their homes, instead of calling a police outfit, making a fuss and rescuing their native from captivity.
Girls, dear, hear. Run away from where you were taken by force. Don’t stay where you are being held without your will. Don’t agree to live with someone you don’t love. Don’t respect those who don’t respect you and lure you to the cattle, even if they creep in front of your feet and beg to stay.
And forget about common systems and conversations.
Expand the expanses.
And have the spiritual courage not to be where you don't want.

I completely agree, but I do not understand those girls who give up and then complain about their lives. Okay, relatives left you, but you are a person, and you can run away, say that you do not agree to become a wife. If a woman lay in front of me, I would still step over her, because the woman who lay in front of me is not the kind of person whom I must respect.
ОтветитьУдалитьActually, this is the tradition of the Kazakh nation, and it comes from ancient times. I do not think that you are ready to step over the older person. Of course, this tradition is quite cruel and terrifying, but it is not our competence to change the tradition. Moreover, do not forget those, who are ready and agree in advance to the theft.

ОтветитьУдалитьSpeaking about this tradition, nowadays it became very distorted.In most cases, the theft of brides were a tradition carried out only by mutural agreement and only because of some reasons. Traditionally, if the groom didn't have enough money to give a buyout to bride's family or his beloved was a youngest daughter of family he or his friends steal her and bring to groom's house. And all of this were made ONLY by mutural agreement.
I really feel nasty about nowadays situation. Because today it is not a tradition, it is a CRIME!
I think in our time it’s terrible to think about such things. I didn’t know what still happens, but it amazes me. Such things should remain in the past, only wild people do this and in the modern world we should not even think about such things, it’s normal it or not
